James-many times we don't think of ourselves as youth workers when we are doing what God has asked us do and gifted us to do.

The bottom line is this: our own relationship with God is what drives our ministry to the youth we work with. No relationship=No ministry.

We are not responsible for the results of our obedience to God. We are only responsible for the results of our disobedience to God. - Charles Stanley

Awesome article. Even though I only work with Grade 5 boys every other Sunday, what you said is so true in my own life. Not only for leading these grade 5 boys but my own kids and family. I can truly say that it works and keeps you from burn out. I have started and successfully keeping up with a Daily Bible Reading Plan which is making a huge difference in my life. Just keeping to this basic routine has already done wonders. Everyone can benefit from what God has laid on your heart. Thanks so much for sharing it as well as all you do for our youth!
